Returning from a day's fishing with a South African guy I met in Exmouth. 7 hours spent many miles out to sea with nothing but the calm blue waters of The Indian Ocean for company...and a Hammerhead shark. Only caught one fish that day, a Spanish Mackerel...unfortunately I can't find the photo of it to show you the size of the beast... ;)

Sunrise at Rottnest's most popular swimming hole provides a different perspective than when overflowing with lobster coloured day trippers and young children. Eerily calm and serene its perhaps when the island is at its most beautiful. The best part of Rottnest is being only a 30 minute ferry from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
